| Biking French Broad River Greenways |

Asheville Outdoor Center is your gateway to the river greenways, bike rentals have never been easier ! Register with A.O.C. get your bike, don't forget the lunch and off you go pedaling away like you were a kid. Bike trails follow the river from A.O.C. to Hominy Creek river park and back down along the greenways to Carrier park, on through to Amboy road park and onto The French Broad River Park and back to A.O.C. Total ride time can be as short as an hour up to 1/2 day. At Carrier park ride the velodrome like a pro racer, also enjoy the large community built playground, watch some inline skating, have a pick up game of basketball, or just watch the beautiful French Broad River roll on by. Don't forget to cruise to the East end of Carrier park and interact with the outdoor interpretive signs and information boards.

All bicycle riders must follow NC state laws, walking bikes at all crosswalks and road intersections, give proper right of way, and be polite. All adult (21 yrs. older) A.O.C. bicycle renters are responsible for the safety of themselves and any children that accompany them, release forms are required for bicycle rentals.
All A.O.C. bicycle renters are responsible for lost or stolen bicycles and damages. Damage deposit required on all bike rentals. All bike rentals are due back by 4:00 pm or late fees will apply.
